Victoria Anderson
Victoria works with clients on a wide range of corporate transactions and commercial projects. She uses her personable and focused approach to help clients achieve successful outcomes in an efficient and pragmatic way.
Victoria has considerable experience in mergers and acquisitions, with particular focus on in-bound investment into New Zealand and the primary industries. She has also worked on a number of significant distressed asset sales, administrations and receiverships. In addition to her corporate transactional practice, Victoria undertakes a range of work on commercial projects including in the equine, agriculture, forestry, manufacturing, transport, and water sectors.

Ben Morrison
Ben advises clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial legal matters. He works with some of NZ’s best-known businesses and families in relation to corporate transactions, commercial operational matters and succession planning.
Ben has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, commercial property transactions and developments, and in the agriculture, horticulture, forestry, sports and retail sectors.

Cameron Fraser
Cameron leads the Morrison Partners’ litigation team and has extensive experience achieving successful results for a diverse range of clients. He has acted as lead and junior counsel in cases including complex proceedings before the High Court (including injunctions, interlocutory applications, and substantive trials) and appeals in the Court of Appeal. Cameron also has experience acting on matters in the District Court, the Employment Court, the Employment Relations Authority and other specialist tribunals, as well as arbitrations and mediations.
Cameron’s recent experience includes complex commercial property disputes, financial markets and director duties claims, disputes between former business partners, professional liability claims, building and construction disputes, regulatory matters and insolvency cases. Cameron excels in guiding clients to resolve their disputes in a commercially pragmatic manner where possible. He is also adept at working with others to achieve effective and efficient outcomes for clients, including specialist barristers, King’s Counsel, and leading experts.

Maggie Chang
Maggie is a Special Counsel in Morrison Partners’ corporate and commercial team, advising clients on a broad range of corporate transactions and strategic commercial matters. She regularly works with founders, investors, and growth-focused businesses on capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, early stage ventures, and business and investment structuring.
Maggie is known for her pragmatic and commercially focused approach, working closely with clients to deliver clear, effective legal solutions that support their broader business objectives.
Maggie has experience working in top tier and boutique law firms in both Australia and New Zealand, advising clients across a range of industries on complex corporate and transactional matters. She has also worked in-house in the pharmaceutical industry.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) from the University of Auckland. Maggie is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and enjoys assisting Chinese speaking clients on New Zealand and cross border transactions.

Viktoriya Pashorina-Nichols
Viktoriya is a Senior Associate in Morrison Partners’ corporate and commercial team, who enjoys advising and supporting clients with their goals and aspirations, by providing them with practical and commercial legal advice.
Viktoriya advises clients on a wide range of matters, including business structuring, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, shareholding arrangements, equity and debt financing, share schemes, financial services, regulatory compliance, and general commercial arrangements.
Viktoriya has a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Victoria University of Wellington, and she was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court in 2016.

Serene Sakairi
Serene is a Solicitor in Morrison Partners’ litigation team. Prior to joining Morrison Partners, Serene was an employed barrister and has represented clients in the Family Court, District Court, and High Court, as well as in arbitrations and mediations. Serene has successfully resolved disputes across a broad range of areas, including contract law, company law, construction, trusts, tenancy, and cross-leases. She is dedicated and always aims to navigate challenging legal matters with a focus on practical, client-centred solutions.
Serene has a Bachelor of Laws and Political Science from Nagoya University, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Auckland, and also studied abroad at the University of Toronto, the University of Leeds, and St John's, Cambridge University. Serene was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court in 2023.
Serene is a member of the NZ Asian Lawyers Women’s subcommittee and is fluent in Japanese.

Rachel Simpson
Rachel is a solicitor working with both our corporate/commercial and litigation teams. Her experience includes assistance with business, share and asset transactions, restructurings, financing arrangements, and regulatory advice as well as assisting the litigation team with legal research, document drafting and hearing preparation. Recently, Rachel has been involved in large-scale due diligence projects for commercial property and business acquisitions.
Rachel studied a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and Bachelor of Arts at the University of Auckland, with her honours research specialising in international taxation and trade. She is a tutor for the compulsory Equity course at the Auckland Law School. Rachel was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in May 2025.

Bronwen Heaven
Bronwen is a Legal Executive working with both our corporate/commercial and litigation teams. Bronwen enjoys assisting our corporate and private clients with their business, commercial property, and asset structuring matters.
Bronwen has an extensive legal secretarial background, including working in top tier firms in Auckland, Sydney and London. She attained her NZ Legal Executive Diploma in 2024 and is an affiliate member of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives.

Valerie Rey
Valerie manages the day-to-day operations of Morrison Partners. Her responsibilities include trust accounting, firm accounting, information technology, legal compliance and generally ensuring we have a smooth-running office. Valerie’s extensive experience in legal administration roles enables her to provide superior administrative support for our team and clients.
